Spring Gallery Walk, Art Chat & Chew and Party April 19, 2008

The Dallas Art Dealers Association (DADA) will present its annual Spring Gallery Walk including its morning educational events, an exhibition of its scholarship winners, a lunch and a party on Saturday, April 19.
Thirty of DADA's member galleries, museums and non-profit art spaces throughout the Dallas area will be open for the free event that encourages art lovers to socialize and roam (in a car) from artspace to artspace all in one day.

Art Chat and Chew
As part of Spring Gallery Walk, a panel discussion on How to Look at Art: Art 101 and Art Chat and Chew, a lunch with professional artists and art
professionals, are planned from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Mckinney Avenue Contemporary (The MAC), 3120 McKinney Avenue in Uptown Dallas.
Panel One: 10:30 a.m. - Noon

HOW TO LOOK AT ART: ART 101.
Benito Huerta - on works on paper
Margaret Robinette - on sculpture
Phillip Collins - on paintings, moderator
Ben Breard - on photography
Panel Two: 12:30 - 2:00 p.m.

ART CHAT AND CHEW
Visit with leaders in the visual art community over lunch. Including: Ben Breard, Phillip Collins, Benito Huerta,Eddy Rawlinson, Margaret Robinette, Debora Hunter, Vicki Meeks,
Karen Garrett, Jose Vargas, Judith Garrett Segura, and Sarah Jane Semrad.
Cost:
$10 for Art 101, online, or $15 at the door.
$20 for Art Chat and Chew, includes lunch, online,
or $30 at the door.

Light hors d'oeuvres and drinks will be served.
Price: $25 at the door, $20 online at www.dallasartdealers.org.
