In the later part of October 2008 when the fall colors are at their peak, a small group of artisans will gather at Ghost Ranch in Santa Fe, NM to share a creative experience unlike any other! Each participant will use their ability to birth new ideas and record them in a two dimensional format. This workshop promises to provide a very unique, fun learning experience. The instructor Darla Bostick is a popular North Texas artist and art educator. She is featured in "Best of America Watercolor Artists & Artisans, Vol. I" by Kennedy Publishing and her watercolors and photography have appeared on the covers of “Denton Connection” as well as “Denton Scramble” magazines. She is also a "calendar girl" as a watercolor was chosen for the 2007 Visual Arts Society of Texas calendar. "Most workshops concentrate on one media…this one will keep participants on their feet (literally) in the streets of Santa Fe! We will be using different methods to capture impressions and images, return to Ghost Ranch and then transfer those images into individual, creative pieces of art.
