Painting stolen from Dallas Elbow Room!

Between 12 August-- 12 November 2006 I had a few paintings hanged in Dallas Elbow Room. In November when I went to picked them up, to my surprise I found out that one of them is missing. None knew what happened, they said they didn't sell it and they had no idea about what might have happened to my artwork!

I was so frustrated!!! And I don't know what made me more upset the fact that my painting was missing or the people's ignorance over there?!

I decided to share this experience with you because, in case you are an artist or craftsman, be careful when hanging your works in a public space for days it is very possible to not find them anymore!

A stolen painting, that is great news for the myth of your art story. I am sorry for your loss though, I had a large work stolen from a Starbucks. Maybe two works will emerge in an important collection. On can always dream.

I used to work there, and I'm not surprised by your story. There are drunk people, many exits, and not so much by way of security. Sad when people will do such stupid things.
